My First-Hand Experience with Pee Safe Disposable Period Panties

My First-Hand Experience with Pee Safe Disposable Period Panties

A testimonial shared by Pranjal Diwan, who tried Disposable Period Panties as a part of a sampling activity

Honestly, I had never heard of period panties before I came to Pee Safe. I knew about tampons and menstrual cups but panties you could wear on your periods - with no requirement of pad on the inside, or additional panty on the outside? Now that sounds interesting.

Initially, when I was given a sample to try, I was skeptical of using a new period product because I have been using pads since I first got my periods. So, there were numerous doubts in my mind, what if it leaks? What if it's not comfortable? For a month, I could not gain the courage to try, but I had to give a review after trying it.

So, before using it, I did a little research on the product to get a gist of how it works. I looked at various competitors and their product reviews. The reviews were mostly mixed so I could not get a clear idea. So, I convinced myself to give it a try. As my cycle is not regular in general, I was carrying it everywhere.

I didn’t know what size would fit me the best so I asked for a small size. Initially, when I opened the packet, it looked a little like a diaper. Anyway, without getting involved in any more overthinking, I decided to wear period panties to the office.

First Impressions of the Period Panty

When I slid it on, it didn’t feel bulky, or diaper-like at all.

The panty is wide from the back, but narrow from the front, giving it a more panty-like structure.

I wore my office clothes as usual, and the panty wasn’t obvious in any way - there weren’t any visible panty lines, or bulkiness.

When I reached the office, I immediately rushed into the washroom to check if my pants were stained. I generally have a heavy flow on the initial days of my period so I carried pads for any emergency. To my surprise, the flow was quite controllable in those period panties. For 6-8 hours in the office, the experience was quite the opposite of what I pictured in my mind. There were no leaks, no stains, no bulkiness, and no irritation. It felt amazingly convenient, as there was no need to wear pads or panties. To dispose of the period panty, I simply removed it, wrapped it and threw it in the dustbin. Changed into a new period panty, this time aware of the fact that it is indeed one of the most comfortable period products on the market.

Towards a more comfortable period experience….

Pee Safe Disposable Period Panties is a great product for beginners, people who have been having periods for a while, for nighttime use, and for those who have a heavy flow.

Through this entire process, I understood that don't hesitate to step out of your comfort zone and give new products a chance—they just might better your period experience, providing the comfort, protection, and confidence we all deserve during our periods.
